A house with a history
This is a heritage house in the literal sense — an old building in Pärnu old town, furnished in keeping with its age rather than against it.
Parnu vanalinnas asuv hoone aadressil Ohtu tn 7/1 on markimisvaarse ajaloolise ja arhitektuurilise vaartusega objekt, mis asub otse ajalooliste Tallinna varavate vastas. Krundi ja sellel asuvate ehitiste ajalugu ulatub tagasi 18. sajandi loppu, olles esmakordselt mainitud 1786. aastal. 1880. aastal ehitati maja umber kahekorruseliseks, saades oma praeguse pohimahu. 2006.a. labis hoone pohjaliku rekonstrueerimise.
The building at Ohtu tn 7/1 is an object of significant historical and architectural value, located directly opposite the historic Tallinn Gate. The history of the plot goes back to the end of the 18th century, first mentioned in 1786. In 1880 the house was rebuilt into two floors, getting its current form. In 2006 it underwent an extensive reconstruction. We will do our best to preserve it.
