Parnu

Pärnu grace is an all-seasons thing — the melting of the sea ice, the early spring, the warm and bright summer and the amazing autumns reflected in the endless parks.

Parks and the old town

Right outside the door, Vallikäär follows the line of Pärnu old town ramparts. At one end stands the Tallinn Gate — the only surviving 17th-century bastion gate of its kind in the Baltics.

Cafes, restaurants and Rüütli street

The heart of everyday Pärnu life is Rüütli street — the old town main artery, lined with cafes, restaurants, bars and independent shops. There is no shortage of good places to eat and sit.

The beach

Five kilometres of soft, pale sand. Water shallow enough that it warms up quickly. A promenade lined with cafes. Further along, past the end of the promenade: kite surfers threading between the dunes and the sea.
